It’s starting to look like winter in Clear Creek Canyon these days. Trails Services Coordinator Eric Fields and I walked the trail this afternoon and took a few pictures.
Good question Renee! Currently, we do not have any completed sections of trail. The pictures above show a segment that is close, but is still awaiting handrails as well as connections to trailheads and to other parts of the trail. As such, the area is still an active construction site. Once we complete the entire trail in this part of the canyon (the west portal of Tunnel 5 downstream to the bridge at the east end of JC-3) we will open it to the public.
